Fortnite is an awesome game after a long time waiting finally it is released for Android Users. First, Fortnite creator Epic Games said the game would not be available on the Google Play app store, and that to start, Fortnite for Android would be a limited-time exclusive for people with late-model Samsung phones.
The beta launched exclusively on Samsung devices last week, and now it’s available on other Android platforms. However, you’ll have to jump through a few hoops before you can jump from the battle bus.
Let me clear you this is not released for every android device for now, things are a bit easier for you if you’ve got a Samsung device. If you have a Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8 Plus, S9, S9 Plus, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, or Tab S4 then go to Game Launcher. From there, search for Fortnite and download the installer. That’s it. You can also download the game straight from Epic’s website.
So you want to play this in your own device don’t worry we are here for you so here’s a step-by-step breakdown to make sure you’re prepared and understand the best way to start playing Fortnite on Android.
#1 Install From Google Play Store
You can install fortnite from play store but this game is not available in play store right now because this game is still in development mode but in future it will release in google play store and you can download and enjoy this popular game but for now, we need to wait.
#2 Avoid Third-Party Websites
Do not download fortnite from other website or any other source because Epic Game has made it clear that it’s only distributing Fortnite for Android through there own website. That means any link you see on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or in the Play Store that claims to provide the official APK file is suspect and not worth the risk of infecting your device with a virus or some other malicious software.
#3 Check Your Device
Fortnite is release for some flagship devices if you have Samsung device, you can download Fortnite right away, either through the Samsung Game Launcher or Epic’s website. Other compatible Samsung devices include the Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge, S8 / S8 Plus, S9 / S9 Plus, and the Note 8, as well as the Tab S3 and S4 tablets. You need to wait for other devices, once this available for other devices I will update this article.
#4 Sign Up For Waiting List
If you don’t have a flagship or Samsung device, you can go to there website and signup to waiting list they will email you once it will available for your device.
#5 Download Installer and Then Game Files
This game is available just for some device and Samsung device, so you need to download two separate applications, even on Samsung devices. The first will be the Fortnite Installer, which is the official APK file that then installs the game files through apk.
When the download is done, wait for Fortnite to boot up and log into your Epic account. From there, you’ll be able to start playing. You’re advised to keep the Fortnite Installer even after you’ve started playing, as the installer is what keeps the game updated with new patches, not the actual game app.
So This game still won’t be available in the Google Play store when it does release. You’ll either have to download the game through Samsung’s Game Launcher or from Epic’s website.
Fortnite is available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
This game is not released officialy for every android device we need to wait and I suggest you do not download this game to third-party source this will affect your device. If you really want to play this game keep patience and wait for release. If you have any question please ask me in the comment section.
